Meet Sam
Sam Lampe lives in Central Oregon and works as the lead guide and mentor for Venture NW. He has a deep heart for seeing men walk closely with God and be intentional in their marriage and families. The outdoors are a valuable place for all people to get away from the distractions of technology and daily life and focus themselves back onto the things that matter most. Sam is professionally trained and passionate about using outdoor experiences to help people grow personally, relationally, and spiritually. Before serving with Venture, Sam served 8 years with Lifelines Outdoors, a ministry of Cru. He is trained as a backcountry guide, wilderness skills instructor, and wilderness first responder.
Sam, along with his wife Maddie, and their 3 kids attend Foundry Church in Bend, OR.

“Hunting with Sam and the other men at turkey camp was such a great experience. It was awesome being outdoors, connecting with other godly men, and hunting to provide for our families. What made the experience even more meaningful was the opportunity to gather around the campfire and really connect.
